Home Sweet Home Remodeling
To add a team layout to this page, visit the Team folder in the section library. There are seven designed options available:
- Basic Team Layouts (4 options) – Display a photo, name, title, and (if needed) a call-to-action such as email or phone number. Do not include bios in these layouts.
- Team Layouts with Bios (2 options) – Display a photo, name, title, and a short bio. You may also include a call-to-action (email, phone, or social icons). If no image is provided, the layout can still be used without one.
- Standalone Profile (1 option) – A full page dedicated to a single team member (e.g., doctor, lawyer) with one long bio.
Choose the design that best fits the client’s content.
Our Story
Home Sweet Home Remodeling was built on expertise, integrity, and attention to detail. The owner’s journey began with a passion for building and a focus on precision. He started working at the age of eight, later gained hands-on experience as an electrician, and combined that with a background in mathematics, government work, and photography. After seeing homeowners struggle with unrealistic plans and budget constraints, he transitioned into design-build. He partnered with custom cabinet makers, including skilled Amish craftsmen, to deliver exceptional craftsmanship.
One of the biggest challenges homeowners face is unclear or misleading pricing in remodeling projects. Our approach is different. We offer high-end remodels with a fixed pricing model. While our prices may be higher than some, they are completely transparent. There are no hidden charges or unexpected costs. From the start, clients receive accurate estimates that prevent budget overruns and unwelcome surprises. We believe quality work deserves honest pricing, and we stand by our commitment to delivering exceptional value without cutting corners.

About Ric SirLouis, Owner
Richard SirLouis is the owner and general contractor of Home Sweet Home Remodeling. Prior to opening Home Sweet Home in 2008, he served as a general contractor for a leading new home builder in Northeast Ohio, where he set records for time management and quality standards.
Deeply invested in the industry, SirLouis has held the position of president of the Home Builders Association of Portage and Summit counties, Board Member of the National Association of Home Builders, and chairman of the Professional Remodelers Council.
His talent in photography and design makes the graphic renderings and attention to detail a unique difference in his approach to home remodel and construction. SirLouis holds a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University.
